Floral/Rehearsal Dinner

Today, Angela, Belinda (her mom), Teresa and myself went to Botanika to finalize the details of her and Josh's dream wedding. It was great to complete another task on Angela's to do list. They are getting married at the up and coming beautiful JW Marriott.

After the meeting we headed over to the Rio Plaza to have lunch and take a tour. We received GREAT SERVICE and Traci was very knowledgeable and is a veteran to planning events at the Plaza. The rooms are spectacular and have AWESOME views.

Another great day...

Tomorrow we're off to look at invitations.

MOVIES! MOVIES! MOVIES!

Audrie and Troy are getting married on April 9th and are huge MOVIE buffs! Today, they had their engagement session with Michelle from McGreevy-Squier Photography. Michelle is a gem!!! They started at her studio, went all around town and ended at the Barrett Maserati dealership. I met them at the dealership to take the finals shots of the day and they looked totally sophisticated and breath-taking. Thank you Justin Long at the Maserati dealership for helping make their idea come to life! (210)341-2800

Michelle and her husband Jerry went ABOVE and BEYOND today! They spent most of the day with them creating photos that future generations will look at, smile and get to enjoy. :)

Thanks again to McGreevy-Squier Photography for a great job!

Here is the link to Michelle's blog for the photos of Audrie and Troy and more of her work.

Anna and Sal Stein

Mr. and Mrs. Salvador Stein
This photo of Anna and Sal was taken by Anahi Navarro, Anna's amazing wedding photographer. You can visit her website at www.anahiphotoart.com

Our beautiful bride, Doctor Anna Gonzalez married Salvador Stein on December 5th, 2009. The ceremony was at Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the fantastic reception was held at The Westin Riverwalk.

During our planning, Anna completed her residency and started working as an OBGYN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, while Sal stayed in Dallas to continue at his job. We had only a few solid weekends over the course of the year to plan Anna's wedding. She Add Videohas an adorable Aunt Blanca and beautiful mom, Anna, that made every planning session a total joy. From venue selection to dress appointments, and tastings, we did it all, and had fun doing it!
I am so excited for Anna and Sal to start heir lives together.

Say Yes to the Dress!

Yesterday, Theresa, Elisa, and me went wedding dress shopping in New Braunfels. It was so excited to see all the dresses and see the ones Theresa picked out. She is going to make a breath-taking bride! Well after a couple hours, we narrowed it down to three exquisite gowns...

She scheduled an appointment to take her mom and grandma to see the final candidates. I know she will be pleased with any of them.

Gonzales Wedding

Today, Teresa and I worked on these baskets for the Gonzales Wedding. They will be delivered to their out of town guest hotel rooms at the Westin Riverwalk for them to enjoy! We filled them with all kinds of tasty treats...Jose Cuervo Tequila, and a mixture of traditional mexican candies. We are looking forward to this Saturday where they will be married and get to celebrate their love with their family and friends.

Sandra and Jason Mucha: Wedding Photos

These photos were taken by one of our all time favorite photographers, KRISTEN RADICKE, owner of URTH Studio. http://www.urthstudio.com/.

Sandra chose a color theme of gold and eggplant, with golden pear accents. We suggested a hint of red, and I think it turned out perfect. Please visit past blogs, if you missed out on their wedding details.

Anna and Sal

Yesterday Anna and Sal were in town finalize the details of their December 5th wedding at The Westin Riverwalk. (sal lives in Dallas and Anna in Tulsa, OK)/ First thing in the morning Anna had a trial run on her hair at The Strand at The Oasis, with Sandy DeJesus, and it looked fabulous! Then we were off to The Westing to meet with Eva, and do their tasting and tablescape sample. (SAWEC is doing her floral for her, and she loved the mock up!) The food and wine at the tasting was fantastic! My favorite was the Tequila Cured Salmon with Jalapeno Caviar, which will serve as one of thier butler passed hors d'oerves during their cocktail hour. OMG, I could have eaten 50 of them! They chose a menu of the Salmon, Brie and Mango Chutney, and Prosciutto with Melon as their passed hors d'oerves, Living Loll Rossa, Texas Peppered Goat Cheese, and Smoked Bacon Herb Vinaigrette salad, and for their entree, Peppered Jack Stuffed Chicken Breast, Mango Salsa, Poblano Rice, and Seasonal Vegetables. YUMMY! (I uploaded the photos from my blackbery,so they are not great.) Then Anna was off to Celebrations Bridal Salon in New Braunfels for her final fitting. Her dress turned out beautiful! Anna and Sal ended their day with Sal going to the movies with his buddies and Anna attending a bridal shower hosted by her Aunt Blanca. Long, but fun day! Check back the first week in December to hear more about our last minute preparations for Anna and Sal's December 5th wedding!

Rachel and Easton at Botanika on Broadway

Monday night Mel and I went to Botanika on Broadway to visit one of our favorite florist, Melissa the owner of Botanika. She did a fantastic mock up for Rachel and Easton and they signed their contract with her. Check back after their July wedding to see Botanika's work!

Christy Cangelosi at Bella Bridesmaid on Broadway

So on Monday we went to Bella Bridesmaid with Christy to look at the bridesmaid dress we had ordered in. The Kim and Casey the owners of Bella Bridesmaid are fantastic, and had the dress specially sent for Christy to look at, in the exact color she wanted. We all love the dress, especially the top, and think we will love it even more, when we change out the skirt to a pencil skirt. All of Christy's girls are beautiful and adorable, and this is going to be one stunning bridal party!
Check at Bella Bridemaids for yourself.

Casillas Wedding

So, we should have the photos from Sandra and Jason's wedding today, but I forgot I took this picture of Mel, and it's so cute, I had to add it! Here she is, in the trees, putting up directional signs to the wedding!

Angela and Josh

Angela and Josh came in town this weekend to go meet with florists and photographers. Our first stop was the JW Marriott for a quick tour. It is coming along wonderful! It is so exciting to be apart of a new and upcoming Resort in San Antonio. We are growing so fast...

Petro gave us a tour of the High Velocity Bar (for sports lover/the men will LOVE it), the ballrooms, the Sunday house (ceremony), and the patio overlooking the bird preservation. The decor at the JW is complimentary to the Texas Hill country. The glass blown flowers you see were from a local artist in San Antonio.

It was nice to meet Josh and they make such an adorable couple. As you can see they even looked cute in their hardhats.

Here are some of the pictures from our day.

Sandra and Jason's Wedding is Tomorrow!

Today we are off the The Marquadt Ranch in Boerne to start setting up for Sandra and Jason's wedding. We will set up this afternoon, up until he rehearsal, then head back in the morning to finish up. I cant believe their wedding is tomorrow. I still remember my first meeting with Sandra, months ago, at the Starbucks at The Quarry. She has been a fantastic bride to work with. Very easy going, very sophisticated, and just a joy. I am so excited to see her get married to her wonderful fiance, Jason, tomorrow. I am going to miss her....

Rachel And Easton

Last night Mel and I met Rachel and Easton at A Gala Event for floral mock up. Jose, the owner was adorable and kind enough to do 3 different floral mock ups for us. Love every second we spend with Rachel and Easton. They are most adorable couple ever. Totally MFEO. (Made for each other-learned that from my daughter's barbie movie). Next week we will be at Botanika, with one of my favorite florist, Melissa, looking at her mock ups.

It was all about peacocks. It started with a beautiful peacock invitation that we embellished with crystal appliques. We then carried the peacock over to the decor. Saturday, Dane Hart hosted a 50th Birthday celebration for his beautiful wife Laura at Soliel Wine Bistro and Bar on Blanco. If you have never been, you should try it. Great food and service, especially fantastic service by the bartender, Trey. Special Thanks to Ray at Music Flow Inc for the up lighting.
